The name "Ducks on the Pond" comes from a baseball saying I heard for the first time at the State Little League Baseball Tournament in Columbus, MS in 1990 when Dickey was 16, Larkin 11, and Breck 10.  "DOTP" became Paul Arnold's favorite words. When the bases were loaded, Paul would holler at the top of his voice, "Ducks on the Pond."  I chose this name because everyday we are standing on home plate and the bases are loaded.  We can single, double, triple, walk, strike-out or hit a grand slam.  Our future is wide open---and what one chooses to do lies in his hands.  So, each day when the alarm sounds, I want everyone to say and think "Ducks on the Pond"---see how successful we can be each and every day.  What a special little league team we had!
